Pintyplus - Wax for Chalk Spray Paint 

Pintyplus Wax is a protective aerosol spray for wood and surfaces that have been painted with chalk spray.  It provides a uniform and silky layer that prevents damage over time.

Applications:
The protection of untreated wood.

To renew the protection layer of wood previously treated with wax.

To protect a surface painted with PintyPlus chalk paint spray.

In all cases, it creates a silky and pleasant surface.

How to use:

Shake the can for a few seconds and spray the surface (ideally 15-20cm away).  Once applied, with the use of a dry rag or cloth, make sure to polish the object which will assure the even spreading of the product.

For surfaces previously painted with PintyPlus chalk paint spray, the process will be the same.  Give the chalk paint an hour to dry and apply afterwards.

Between layers, wait 30 minutes so the wax will be absorbed into the surface.

It is important to remark that the use of wax is mainly intended for the treatment of wood.  However, for surfaces previously painted with chalk paints or PintyPlus chalk spray paints, it is also suitable, because unlike other paints our chalk spray paints keep the pores open.  Therefore, wax spray will not be suitable for paints which seal the surface.

Recommendations for use:

Use the wax to enhance the tone of the chalk paint or the natural wood colour.

Apply it to give a matt or slightly satin appearance.

Like other waxes, it will be necessary to renew the layers after a few months.

Do not use on equipment connected to power and apply in ventilated places.
