Pintyplus filler spray is an acrylic white putty aerosol which prepares a surface for painting, it acts as a primer.

It creates a thick layer, protecting the surface against corrosion and it has a particularly fast drying time.  It has excellent adhesion to iron, aluminium, polyurethane, putty and on most plastics or similar substrates.  It has a great sealing power and is very flexible. Easy to sand (wet or dry - both work) and it is compatible with most paints (acrylic, synthetic, of one and of two components, water, solvent based etc).

Applications and uses

It is very easy to apply and can be used for small and medium repairs, levelling and sealing irregularities, scratches or sanding prints.  A smooth surface is obtained for subsequent painting.

Technical characteristics

It provides a thick, fast drying layer and offers excellent adhesion on a multitude of surfaces: Metal sheets, aluminium, polyurethane, most plastics, on other putties etc.  It acts as a sealant and is very flexible.

How to apply:

1. Shake the spray vigorously for about 30 seconds after hearing the mixing balls sound.  We strongly recommend to test it before surface application on a piece of paper so you can measure the proper spray distance - each job may require a different distance depending on the object you are going to paint.  The larger the surface area is, the more you need to increase the distance of spraying from the object.  The recommended distance is 15-20 cm.

2. Spray criss-cross layers.  In order to get full coverage, it helps to spray from top to bottom and then from one side to the other side.  Doing this will prevent patchiness, but sometimes it isn’t necessary if you have good control of the spray.  This paint covers a large surface and is easy to apply smoothly.

3. Clean the nozzle.  Once you have finished spraying your desired item, invert the spray can upside down and press the nozzle until only gas comes out.  This will clean the paint circuit and prevent it from clogging so you can use it in future occasions.

With the filler primer applied on the surface, let it dry 15 minutes and sand the surface for smoothing / levelling if necessary. Once finished, clean well and paint normally with the desired paint.

Recommendations for use

Do not use on devices connected to an electrical network and apply in ventilated areas.

Once empty, the aerosol should be deposited in an appropriate bin, can be recycled - check your local guide.
