These images that we shared on our Facebook page and that we got from our friends in Hungary, show us how to paint string lights. Natural coloured string ball lights can be found quite cheaply in shops and you can give them a whole new look using chalk paint.
To paint you don’t need to use primer. The colours in the Pintyplus Chalk Paint range are ideal for this project because they combine very well together. When you are painting take advantage of the power cord to hang the garlandso you can spray the entire surface of the sphere ensuring the cable and the rest of balls that you don’t want to paint are protected. You can also do holding them with one of your hands to paint with the other. Apply very thin layers to preserve the original texture of the spheres.
Once painted, we recommend spending a duster or something soft on the surface to remove the dust that has collected.
