Mould is a fungus that grows mostly in humid and dark environments. When it appears on the walls of our home it becomes more than just an aesthetic problem. In fact, their spores can cause breathing problems and allergies.

How to remove moisture stains step by step
The materials you will need are:
Pintyplus Tech anti-stain spray paint
Fungicide anti-mould cleaner
Sandpaper or scraper
Rags
Paint for walls
1º.- Sand the area
The first step will be to sand the area with a sandpaper or use a scraper . Next, clean with a damp cloth to remove the dust generated by sanding.
It’s a sensible addition to wear a mask to avoid breathing mould spores.
2º.- Apply a fungicide product
The next step will be to apply a fungicide product, you can pick these up easily from a supermarket or chemist. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and let the product act to clean the area and dry afterwards.
3º.- Paint the surface with special anti-humidity paint
Once the surface has dried, it will be painted with Pintyplus Tech anti-stains paint . This step is essential since it is what prevents mould from reappearing over time.

How to repair a piece of wall where the paint has peeled
Occasionally, there is no mould but the humidity has caused the paint to peel. In this case, the steps to follow are very similar to the previous case:
- With a scraper removes all the paint that has peeled
- Sand the area to even out the surface
- Remove sanding dust with a damp cloth
- Wait for the area to be dry and apply Pintyplus Tech stains paint
- When a couple of hours have passed, paint the area with your choice of coloured wall paint
