We bring a new post, this time from the ladies at Masni Dekoracio who have created a simple and very DIY-style centrepiece for a dining table or side table. It’s simple to make using Pinty Plus Chalk spray paint in Broken White (but you could substitute this for another colour from our extensive range to suit your room).
Firstly thoroughly clean the tins, ensuring any adhesive from the label has been removed.
Next shake the spray can vigorously for one minute (from when you hear the ball-bearings sound). This is very important to ensure the paint is thoroughly mixed, therefore giving you the best performance and result.
Allow to dry thoroughly before lightly sanding with a fine grade sandpaper to remove excess chalk dust and slightly erode the reliefs giving a rustic look.
Then put a foam base inside the cans to hold candles in place before adding some moss to decorate. Place on a decorative glass or ceramic plate and add small baubles and perhaps some dry twigs or pot pourri for decoration.

Beautiful and simple. This would also work really well with warm, rich tones or more vibrant colours to create a different feel.
